Ballet & Modern Dance Classes

Tuesdays:

5:30-6:15 Pre-Ballet (4-6 yrs)

Students will explore the world of ballet, developing motor skills and satisfy that need to prance around!

Cost: $25/month

6:30-7:30 Ballet 2 (12 & up)

A beginner’s technique class for anyone who wishes to learn the grace of ballet, gain strength and flexibility and/or continue practicing the form.

Cost:$35/month

Wednesdays:

Itty Bitty Ballet 4:30-5:15

Starting September 7th NEW CLASS for 3-4 yrs! (and parent)

A class for “itty bitties” to explore music and dance with parent participation.

Cost: $25/month or $60/3 months

5:30-6:30 Ballet 1 (7-12 yrs)

An introduction to the fundamentals of ballet to develop coordination and flexibility.

Cost: $35/month

6:30-7:30 Modern (teen/adult)

A beginner’s class for anyone with or without dance experience. This expressive style emphasizes fluidity with suspension and release with body awareness and proper alignment.

Cost: $35/month

Nicole O'Brien has trained in and performed modern, ballet and theater at many schools and master classes including Upstate NY Ballet, Boulder Ballet School, Naropa University and Henny Jurriens Foundation. At the White Mountain Summer Dance Festival she studied anatomy, kinesiology and Laban Movement Analysis. She was an apprentice, assistant choreographer and soloist with the Helander Dance Theater in Boulder, CO, and performed with the company in the Netherlands. She believes firmly in an encouraging, fun dance class that's also educational and builds confidence.
