"Perfectly Respectable Ladies," an original play

 Mothers' Day weekend, Friday, May 6, and Saturday, May 7, 7:30 pm.

Six "respectable" senior ladies travel by car to an out-of-town luncheon. Raucous tales are told, secrets are revealed and minor frictions occur in their somewhat disjointed conversations on the road. Author Elizabeth Black is join by Katherine Benedict, Gail Carroll, Gail Gibson, Fran Jones, Cora Maddix, and Mary Bea Sakraida in a semi "read-through" with a minimal set for this first production. "Each of these ladies is well-suited for her role," Black said. "I'm hoping our audience will enjoy the performances as much as we've enjoyed our rehearsals!
