• Indian Style Fry Bread and Salmon Bake on the West Lawn (weather dependent)
A traditional roast of salmon, along with modern-day fry bread, with samples served around 4 p.m.
AND

  • Native American heritage book sale with Bob's Beach Books

 • Small marketplace for modern Native American crafts

2 p.m.

Baskets, Beads and Regalia: Cultural Treasures from the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians -- CTSI
• Councilman and Cultural Director Robert Kentta will bring some of the artifacts from tribes' collection, and explain their importance to modern day tribal culture.
• CTSI member and cultural educator Selene Rilatos will discuss traditional and modern-day methods

3 p.m.

Author talk with Gloria Linkey, "Native American Women: Three Who Changed History" followed by book sale and signing with the author
