Halloween Mask Making Class
Make your own Halloween Mask!
Use your creativity and come up with something far-out, one-of-a-kind and original for Halloween! Come prepared to design a mask using your own face for a mold, or you can use a balloon or stuffed paper bag. Using plaster bandages we’ll create the base mask then decorate it with paint, feathers, beads, found objects such as moss, pine cones, shells, leaves, or anything that you can imagine working to decorate your mask.
Instructor will provide plaster, gauze, plaster bandages, Vaseline, construction paper, paint and brushes, glue and glue sticks, paper bags and newspaper.
Please bring any objects you want to use on your mask and any extra that you want to share. If everyone brings an assortment we will have a lot to choose from. Some ideas: pampas grass, moss, grasses, feathers, pine cones, twigs, small stones, beads, candy, dried flowers, ribbons, curling ribbon, cotton balls, toilet paper rolls, sequins, string, coffee grounds, glitter, felt, yarn and buttons.
