Tracy MacEwan has made his Northwest reputation on vivid, moving abstracts inspired by his own photography and his travels around the world. But this generous Lincoln City artist has been unable to paint since he suffered a sudden stroke, in mid-2010. For this show, Tracy's friends are combining his works with contributions of their own, for a benefit show that will help purchase tools for his recovery.
The exhibit, called “Tracy MacEwan and Friends,” will include 10 to 15 of MacEwan’s colorful abstracts, as well as work by six other artists from around the region. This includes both two and three dimensional works – glass, pottery, metal and works on canvas.
