Heron Valley

The 2023-24 Celtic Series begins with Heron Valley, an energy-fueled quintet from Scotland. Their roots lie in Scottish and Irish traditional music, including traditional Scots song, Scottish piping tunes and Irish banjo. Since they last played at the Cultural Center in 2018, this band has been on an adventure: touring the world, streaming through the pandemic, now back on the road again. Join us for the exciting musical return of Abigail Pryde (fiddle, vocals), Keith Morrison (keys), Nick Hamilton (banjo, guitar), Alastair Maclean (bagpipes, flutes and whistles), and Callum Cronin (bass, guitar).
