The Cultural Center's Celtic Music Series Announced

Fiddles, harps, pipes, accordions and centuries of musical tradition will fill the Lincoln City Cultural Center this fall and spring as the LCCC presents its 2026-27 Celtic Series, a seven-concert journey through the music of Ireland, Scotland, the Isle of Man, Québec, and beyond. This year’s Celtic Music Series is proudly sponsored by Dorcas and Alan Holzapfel. Their generous support helps the Lincoln City Cultural Center bring outstanding Celtic music and cultural experiences to the Oregon Coast. We are grateful for their commitment to keeping the arts accessible and thriving in our community.

This season we have 8 bands!

The 2026-27 Celtic Series lineup includes:

(single season tickets available Oct 12)

Scottish 5-string fiddle phenoms Hayden Stern and M’Gilvry Allen join Pacific Northwest old-time favorites Dear Crow for a lively evening of traditional and original folk music on Tuesday, October 20, at 7 pm. Stern brings a wide-ranging approach rooted in Scottish fiddle and shaped by Irish, Scandinavian, French-Canadian and Appalachian traditions. Stern is joined by M’Gilvry Allen, a Southern Oregon-based fiddle player. He started playing at age four, and his relationship with that instrument is as deep a part of him as any language. He has studied with many teachers and in many traditions, but is currently drinking deeply from the waters of Old Time, Scottish, Irish, and Scandinavian fiddle music. Dear Crow is the musical partnership of Brian Lindsay and Penka Jane Culevski, a forthright and emotive fiddler and songsmith. In the heartfelt and vulnerable arrangements of Dear Crow, the harmonies ring easily, the songs pluck your heartstrings, and the tunes roll and tumble with the energy that only dance musicians can muster.
