Friday, June 20 at 5:30pm/ Meditation at 7pm

Join instructor Brady Jansen and New Moon yogis for the practice of 108 sun salutations in celebration of the longest day of the year and the changing of season. This repetitive practice is meditative, and can be challenging both physically and mentally to complete in its entirety. To perform all 108 sun salutations takes about 90 minutes, though participants are invited to complete as many or as few as you like. (Yogi tip: it is considered auspicious to perform a multiple of 9!)
This is a free event in the Cultural Center auditorium, and the more, the merrier - bring a friend! Sun Salutations will begin promptly at 5:30pm, though latecomers will find it easy to join in - even if you are not familiar with this brief sequence, it is easy to learn. Join us at 7pm, following the physical practice, for solstice meditation.
Donations to the yoga program will be gratefully accepted. Mats provided (or bring your own).
