Do you remember the game where a message is whispered from one person to the next around a circle? When it gets to the end, the phrase is very different than it was when it began. This is the premise behind the Chessman Gallery’s new group exhibit, but instead of being auditory it is visual. Each artist renders their version of the one before them and displayed together, you will be able to see how the image changes depending on the style, process and mood of each artist. Featuring the creative response art of 2 dozen local artists!

The show will be open from 10 am to 5 pm Wednesday through Sunday, January 9 through March 8, 2026.
